Shabu Shabu Corner - Comida Zen

Es un secreto poco conocido que el imperio más grande del mundo se logró gracias al Shabu Shabu. El Shabu Shabu era el platillo favorito del ejército mongol durante el Imperio de Genghis Khan en el siglo 12. Era una manera eficiente y saludable de alimentar a sus soldados, pues les indicaba que utilizaran su casco para hervir agua y ahí cocinar su ración de comida. Resultó ser un platillo tan delicioso que se extendió, al igual que el imperio mongol, por gran parte de Asia, dónde cada país tiene una variante.

El nombre Shabu Shabu proviene del sonido que se escucha cuando uno cocina su carne preferida en la nabe, la olla que se utiliza. El Shabu Shabu que hoy llega a México viene directo desde Japón, donde la filosofía Zen está presente incluso a la hora de comer.​

Disfrutar Shabu Shabu es una experiencia que alimenta el alma y el espíritu, pues nos nos hacemos conscientes de cada bocado al cocinarlo y saborearlo. Es una comida completa en un sólo platillo, pues al terminar de cocinar tu carne y tus verduras, puedes hacer una deliciosa sopa de noodles.
